Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation #TENS ( Electrotherapy lecture Part 1)
In this electrotherapy lecture we dicuss about the Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation ( TENS). TENS is a non-invasive, low frequency electrical nerve stimulation. Its primarily used for pain relif- nocipetive, musculoskeltal, neuropathic. The lecture discuss about defining TENS, terminlogies related to TENS, and different modes of TENS.
The following headings are discussed:
1. Introduction to TENS
2. Definition of TENS
3. Principle of TENS
4. Modes of TENS- CONVENTIONAL OR HIGH TENS, ACUPUNCTURE LIKE/ LOW TENS, BURST TENS, BRIEF TENS, MODULATED TENS

Posture Biomechanics [ Ankle, Hip and Combined Strategies] Part -2
Переглядів 9 тис.2 роки тому
In this lecture we discuss an important concept in posture biomechanics, that is the postural control strategies. The postural control strategies include ankle strategy, hip strategy and combined strategy which include both ankle and hip strategy. Postural control strategy comes into action when there is a pertubation or postural sway. Among this strategies the ankle strategy is the simplest an...

In this lecture we continue discussing the basics concepts in electrotherapy. Here we explore about the concepts such as Capacitor or Condenser, Inductor, Magnets and magnetism, and electromagnetic induction. A capacitor isa device used to store charge and is used in electrotherapy device such as shortwave diathermy. Inductors are coils of wires which resist change in electric current passing t...

I dont know what have u done sir ! U said u will simplify integrated functions but what actually u have done is made it complicated , very smartly u have escaped from that plane of motion concept and just taught the degrees of scapulothoracic joint motion and glenohumeral joint motion . Didnt expected this from you ! Very bad lecture !

Think your math is wrong on 15% max weight relief. If you line the cane parallel with your leg adjust the cane height to your waist and lift your leg off the ground. You can transfer 100% of your weight to the cane. Similar to how you would walk using a crutch.
